Grants Pass, OR – Siskiyou Community Health Center (SCHC) is pleased to announce that Joe Dunn, DMD has been named Chief Dental Officer on Monday, January 7, 2019. He will see patients part-time while joining the SCHC Leadership Team to help facilitate our continued growth and support our dental team in the delivery of quality patient care. His extensive experience in Dental Clinic leadership, as well as his clinical experience, is recognized as valuable assets to the Leadership Team at Siskiyou Community Health Center.

At Dunn’s previous practice, his operational and strategic responsibilities included developing a 10-year strategic plan for growth and expansion. He managed the construction of new administrative offices, an OB office, and a new comprehensive medical complex that included Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Walk-In Clinic, Dental, Pharmacy, and Lab. Dr. Dunn has extensive experience with a wide range of dental procedures including crowns, bridges, endodontics, removable prosthetics, extractions, bone grafts, implants, and some orthodontics.

In 2001, Dr. Joe Dunn received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He later completed the American Academy of Dental Implants Maxi Course at the Medical College of Georgia in 2007. He went on to study Progressive Orthodontics and Complex Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry.

Siskiyou Community Health Center continues to provide an affordable solution for quality healthcare. Their two community health centers in Grants Pass and Cave Junction provide medical clinics, walk-in clinics, dental clinics, pharmacies, a moderate complexity lab, radiology, and a mobile dental clinic. They have four school-based health centers, three in Cave Junction and one at Grants Pass High School.

For those with insurance, SCHC accepts most insurance plans including the Oregon Health Plan and Medicare.
